But extremely slow loading so that I cant stay "quiet".
Super slow and laid out poorly
This app is so incredibly slow an full of bugs. In the time it takes to get past the opening "quiet please" screen, I can go to the espn app and get all the info I need on scores and schedule. Amazed that such a world class event can have such a crappy app
It kinda does the job I guess but I dont like the interface. It has issues often. It has not really improved in my opinion. I ve seen way better sport apps...
It did the job, but was full of bugs. It sent me multiple notifications of matches long completed and didnt discern when favorites were playing each other.
This app placed looks over function. Slow, endless scrolling and I never could find the scoreboards for matches happening right now.
The Wimbledon APP, sleek and clean i. years past, now feels quite cumbersome. Its painfully slow to load, and is riddled w/ interface errors.
Every year Wimbledons web/mobile experience never fails to do two things: 1) offer a tremendous wealth of news, media and raw data. 2) allow IBM, with its horrible sense of usability and style, render most of that news, media and data in the most confusing way possible in an attempt to be what I imagine IBM would call "immersive" and "innovative". Its easily a ritzy "looking" app, with lots of bells and whistles. However, I think an event of The Championships stature deserves a far nobler web/mobile experience in totality than IBM seems capable of providing.
1. Reading the draw makes it impossible to find out which players are on which half or quarter of the draw in early rounds so it makes predicting who will play who nearly impossible. 2. Results page doesn’t show seed numbers so can’t see who was supposed to be the predicted winner based on seed numbers. 3. Live scores page is horrific for showing terrible thumbnails of players and only showing 2 matches on one screen and requiring tons of scrolling. It should look like the results page and not waste so much space on pictures. 4. And yes the scoreboard is as confusing as @#$%. Terrible organization of some sets on the left some on the right, game score somewhere in the middle and total sets somewhere in between. Ridiculous. This app fails miserably on all basic fronts of a scoring app. At least the notifications worked great and it didn’t crash is a plus, other than that you guys seriously need to have a look at the ATP app and take some serious pointers.
Simply incredible compare to other grand slam apps. Wimbledon always does the best on tracking favorite players and events.
Best sports app out there
I love that I can follow all of my favourite players throughout the entire tournament. I get alerted when their matches begin so I can follow along, and I can filter all of the news and photos to show only content related to my favs. Love it!
Love this app! It helps keep up with all the Wimbledon action
Its not a great app.
I cant determine whether this is a good app. It wont even download to my brand new iPhone
Whats with this app???scores not current. Just showing through Thursday. Frustrating. Id give it a zero if I could.
I think the Draw section of the app would be better if you separated the first round into quarters so it would be easier to see where key players would meet up in later rounds. Thanks!
Awesome look and feel; great insight and data. Way to go Wimbledon!
Definitely not the best sports app out there. Difficult to navigate and hard to find information about matches.
